6 WEEKS IN We have finished demolition on the inside of the space and cleared it out. We have sandblasted the interior walls and ceilings, making the place look amazing, removing the old paint and giving the ceiling a refresh! Now we are starting to dig out the concrete floor to lay piping and begin to build our restrooms and showers. After that, the flooring and equipment are set to arrive early in June, ready for us to start rolling in July. Our second email is set to go for Monday! WEEK 1 We’ve stripped out most of the old interior - fixtures, drywall, and everything left behind from the previous auto shop. Next is abrasive blasting - stripping the paint from the walls revealing the Chicago brick underneath. Clean slate, big vision. Stay tuned for what’s next. 📸 @aidan.kranz
